In case you haven't noticed. I'm a quote lover.
I just love it when people transfer their words (of wisdom?) to us and its put down on pen and paper (or the internet).
My favorite quote for now is...
Isupport this quote 99.9%.
Not because Anna Dello Russo is popular but because i honestly believe that you should put passion into what you wear which says a lot about you.
I understand that the inside matters a great deal but so does the outside. The part you are showing off to people who will do nothing but judge you.
Its impossible for me to believe that your perception of a person is based on what they say or what is in their head.
When you see someone for the first time, the first thing you tend to notice is the way they come across to you. This includes the way they are dressed and the kind of word/accent that comes out of their mouth and their body language.
You know a confident person the first time you see one: What they wear, tone of their voice, body language and the things you tend to notice at first.
I think that most fashion-conscious people are confident. They tend to stand out from the crowd and their outfits are just different and amazing.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I know that first impression always counts and i believe in it, but i need your counter-arguments. Do you disagree that first-impression counts? Do you not judge a person based on what they look like the first time you see them? I know that later when you get to know the person, your opinions might change but that very first time they approach you or vice versa, don't you jump to conclusions?
Is it that something is wrong with me and i need help?
It bothers me a lot when people say that they don't judge a person based on what they look like but what comes out of their mouth.
What if that person doesn't say a word? Do you still judge them by their words?
You know what a professional looks like based on what he/she is has on, You know what a doctor looks like based on his coat, do you still wait to hear what he says before knowing he's a doctor?

Outfit Time!

What are your opinions with reference to the question above?
Does first impression count?

4'11''? I thought you were 5'5" or something.. you look tall =)
I think fashion-conscious people are more confident, but people who dont care can be confident. In a sea of people wearing A&F and Hollister and such, it takes guts to dress differently =)
Btw, love the crop top! I've been looking for one...

I agree to a certain extent. Yes, you judge someone by first impressions, but I think it would be wrong to not adjust your opinion of a person if you come to know them for who they are inside... even if they don't dress well on the outside.

I completely agree with you! It's always important to look your best, because you never know who you're going to meet and what's going to happen and people DEFINITELY make perceptions about you based on your appearance. Unfortunate, but true!
